Anyone know where I can get some good PAYING banners?
I can get so much more done with my site and Quake2 projects if I get a little cash flow. I go to school, spend 40 hours a week at  (my job), work on this page, work on Q2 related stuff, and try to make clan practices...
I'd be sooo nice if I could work maybe like 30 hours a week, or 24....

Awesome new proggy! Memturbo a ram defragger/optimizer that keeps you running as much free ram as you choose.
Very nice, and you can set it to defrag at increments (I set it to defrag every 10 mins).

New version of Neoplanet is out (2.0), offering new 'skins' and smoother feel....

If you didn't know it, Neo sort of emulates IE, but looks and runs so much cooler.....

D/L the new Voodoo2 DirectX 6.0 Drivers for my V^2 and am not impressed. I suppose all you duel V^2 (12 MB) owners are getting hard-ons, but single V^2 owners don't get shit. I use the 3DNOW! drivers for my K6-2 300 that rocked the house for Q2, but these new V^2 drivers didn't give me a single frame on top of that.... Guess when I get my second V^2 I'll get to get a hard-on too.

Also in news, I d/l'd and tried out one of them ZBOTS last night after getting shot to hell by a guy named {77}CABLE last night who was obviously using one.....
And from what I saw while using it.......

The demo shows how they cheat using lower ZBOT FOV to make shots look legit, a glimpse of the ZBOT menu, and how the ZBOT works in full FOV 360, shots-out-the-ass action...

And in LITESTEP news, I've got a great proggy (introduced to me by my computer mentor Wayfarer) called EFX.
It's described on the page as "..a look and feel manipulator for Windows 95, 98, and NT."
It allows you to choose different 'skins' to alter the top bar of windows, it's very cool and works nicely with Litestep. A Litestep must have.

Well, finally someone was not greedy with their efforts and submitted a script....

This was submitted by Blackened it's a classy CYA to tell the guy you've been fraggin all day....

I don't recommend naming your scripts 'SCR' as they did in Quake since scr is the extension for screensavers... Why give Winblows an excuse to mess something else up?

I was having a couple months really bad net lag, which was ruining my game, until recently, my connection has been AWESOME!
I've been a killing machine, whacking LPB's more than usual.
Anyone else's connection/ping/lag gotten drastically better?

Well, I hadn't played DOOM in a long while, but today I downloaded ZDoom and played it... OMG it rocks!
What is ZDoom you ask? Well it makes Doom like Quake by adding a console, the ability to bind keys, mouse usage, mouselook , crosshairs, and more configuration stuff....
It make this old game like a brand new game, with the mouselook I cranked it up to NIGHTMARE level, and was a killing machine. And with GLDoom in the works, I have discovered a renewed W00DY for Doom....

I downloaded the Q2 MOD Generations (in beta), I played, I liked.....
Imagine if you will, wandering through old E1M1, and seeing that first Grunt and blowing him away with... the Railgun.....
Yepper, a beutiful conversion, complete with Grunts and Puppies to blast. You can play as Quakeguy or Quake2guy.
The Quake version rocks since it's Quake using Q2's engine, as well as the ability to crouch and such.....

But enough about them, now somethiong about me...
I threw together a alternate skin PAK for generations (the Q1 ones) using Alan Yens skins made for Q1, they rock....

Well, I got some PQ trash...
AS you may or may not have heard, a new Q2  Expansion Pack called Unseen has just released a demo, which of course PQ has mirrored everywhere, HOWEVER, every single one of there links was/is broke :)

Also, as found on NOFADZ.COM's site, here's the PHONEJACK-BUSTER ALIAS, which has been confirmed to me as working quite well, that can UNLAG YOU.

alias +lag rate 1
alias -lag rate 6000
bind q +lag

Exchange your rate for the '-lag rate' (E.G.: 56K=5000, 33.6=3000 etc).
Just press and hold when the phone jack appears to get unlagged (not 100% guaranteed, but close)

Lastly, gonna be postin some scripts in the next day or two, I got some while hunting too >:) MUHAHAHA.
