THE FRIGGIN END!!!!!!! - 12:45 AM EST
GOODBYE M1CRO$OFT.... HELLO LINUX.... Well after my most recent WIN98 fatal error I decided the time had come, Windows would own me no more. I had been discussing with my pal FRAGGY her newly adopted OS and had the fatal error... FUCK YOU BILL GATES YOU LITTLE-PRICKED-MONEY-GRUBBING-COCKSUCKER!!!!!!!
So I ordered the full monte, Redhat Linux 5.2, all the goodies, a manual and a bumpersticker.... I'm going for it later this week. So if you see me updates dropoff for a day or two it's prolly due to issues involved there.... So a PARTIAL thanks to Fraggy for getting my ball rolling in the right direction, I'll give the rest of the thanks if I survive the changeover.... Note all of you who have me on ICQ, I won't get ICQ messages when I'm in Linux until I find some sort of ported version, so don't fret and think I'm ignorin ya. I'll post here and send a mass ICQ/email to let everyone know I'll be incapacitated for a few days(?)

DA MOD - 4:00 PM EST Here it is, my first Q2 modifcation. Features include:

Increased monster difficulty (Soldiers (all), Infantry, Gunners, Gladiators and the Makron are all tougher.
Increased Rocket Physics (faster, more bounce for the ounce).
Removed particles from RL, GL and Blaster trails, if all mods did this the lag would be some much less :)
New multiplayer death messages.
Increased Blaster/Machingun damage cause nobody likes these guns. (and now when Quadedthe Blaster does 6X the damage w00t!).
CRT's fast weapon switching.

HOLY MOD! - 4:00 PM EST Well, I made my first Q2 modification.. that's right, I'm learning Q2 coding... MUHAHAHHAHA. I'll prolly release it as a fun DM toy for all you LANNERs out there once I finish tinkering. Look for a release this week :)

Ok, after receiving a request for my Super Shotgun sound (thanks Rine) from the RA2 list, I am posting a zip file of my improved weapon sounds for Q2.
Features are:

Really cool sounding, I combed the net as well as other games paks/folders/CDs/friends to compile it.
Resampled to decrease size thereby decrease lag
Small download, less than a meg.

Two methods for download, a zipped pak file(567 KB) or a zip containing all sounds in folder format (599 KB).

AWOL - 3:40 PM EST Hmmm, where has Moses been????

Finally did what I should have done LOOOONG ago, started a clan (with Wayfarer) with all the folks I love to play with...
This way I can play with the folks I normally do, and also kick other wussy clans asses at the same time.
Finished the site the other day, got it hosted on Nofadz (thanks again Fadzy and Creep), and been making custom skins etc.
See I'm not a slacker.....
And in a day or two I'm going to post a couple of my first school programs (for all you idjits Moses is in a couple programmin classes).
Hmm, do you need a teperature converter or a acreage figgurouter???
So many uses :)

Sigh... the holidays are here, and so comes the depression... I hate the holidays 100%
I beat Half-life, still hold it as one of the best games ever, altough I found a few bugs.... Getting stuck in map, reloading dead and off the map, and the NPC's not doing what they are supposed to (like open the damn doors). Fortunatly, I used NOCLIP to workaround the problem, anyone else have bugs? I saw 90% of mine on the 'Surface Tension' part....

The new RA2 maps kick ass, although I've only played a few of them (Half-Life owned me..).
I think that Half-Life IS the Quake Killer, and TF2 will be the nails in it's coffin..... Although Q3 Arena will be Quake rising like a Phoenix... :)

Got Half-Life.
OMG, it is one of the best games I have ever played. The graphics are amazing and the locational sound.....
Also, the AI is some of the best I've ever seen in a FPS, some enemies run away, some dodge your attacks, and some cooperate with each other and flank you, or lay down cover fire.
If you don't have it, you better get it. I played it online for a couple hours, and although a bit laggy (I think it has something to do with WON.NET) it was a blast. Has built in server connecting features as well as chat, makes for quick and easy connectiong to a server. Another great feature is that they use PAK files, some of you may know that I love these things, so many goodies inside, and HL comes with a copy of Worldcraft 2.0 on the CD. They are screaming for mods here people, contact me if you've got ideas.
Did I mention my free HL T-shirt for pre-ordering??? It's soooo sweet.
I'm already drolin 10X as much for TF2.

It's a kickass Vooddo and Voodoo2 tweaking/overclocking utility. It enters all the info into your registry so you'll never need to make batch files to run 3D games again. It rocks so much! Works with ANY 3DFX game (Sin, Quake, Quake II, Shogo etc)

OMG, it makes Quake look as beautiful as Quake II by tricking your card to think 8 bit is unavailible, so it runs in 16 bit.
