• From: h0nkass@aol.com (H0NKASS) Subject: Friday 19, September show Denver Colorado Date: 21 Sep 1997 19:17:31 GMT I saw the Ween show at the Ogden Theatre tonight, and I have to say it was the most incredible concert I'd ever seen. The crowd was really into them, and people were stage diving and running up and drinking thier Jack Daniels during songs. They played for about three hours and played mostly stuff off the mollusk and Chocolate and cheese. They even did an extended version of Voodoo Lady (Gene said that they hadn't played Voodoo Lady in a few years, but it was very good, they didn't screw up at all, and the last encore started out with a dead on cover of Hot For Teacher that was sung by the drummer, very cool. I managed to stash a recorder in my shorts, and I got the entire show on tape. Due to the extra time inbetween songs, I was able to not miss a single note. The recording is pretty high quality for a single mic audience recording. I would even call it a high B grade cassette. I'm in the middle of editing all the tape together so I don't have a setlist to post (I will do that once I complete editing the show) I'm interested in trading copies of this show for other Ween concerts, and rare tapes like thier earlier recodings (of which I don't really know the names of. I have all the albums (Pod, GWS, Pure Guava, C&C, 12 contry, and Mollusk. Plus the imports for Piss Up A Rope, Freedom of '76, and Voodoo Lady.) Anything other than that stuff I am actively looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, h0nkass
